The Ottawa firewalls will undergo maintenance this Sunday, Feb. 11 at 12h00 CET. We expect maintenance to affect all Ottawa-based Eclipse services sporadically, for no more than 30 minutes. GitLab will not be affected by this.

Due to ongoing issues with cluster stability we are moving this update forward.

We will be updating our primary compute cluster. Services may be temporarily unavailable as workloads are transitioned.

GitLab will underdo routine maintenance. During this time, availability and performance of GitLab-related services may be affected.

The Eclipse Account-API will be undergoing an update at this time. This upgrade will likely result in disruptions to ECA validation and other Eclipse profile-related API requests

Due to unresolvable issues, we had to abort this migration for now. We will schedule a new attempt at a later date.

Cluster upgrade has been completed.

Our ISP has informed us they will be adding new transit interconnects daily between 21:00 and 23:59 Eastern.

Disruption should be minor, and limited to failed/delayed requests that should succeed on retry.

We will move our Bugzilla database to a new cluster. Bugzilla will be placed in read-only mode during the maintenance.

We will be preforming maintenance on one of our internal DNS machines which may result in delays while queries are sent to other machines.

We will move the database to a new database cluster. Forums will be placed in read-only mode during the maintenance.

We will be working on one of our internal DNS servers to apply some updates. While the impact should be minimal, there is a possibility that some actions may fail/timeout as things fail over but they should work again on retry.
