Maintenance

We will be updating our primary compute cluster September 2 at 12 PM CET. All services running on the cluster(CI, etc) will be degraded and may be temporarily unavailable as the underlying nodes are updated and restarted. This may take a couple of hours.

We need to move the keycloak datatabse. APIs and/or authentication may be unavailable during the maintenance

We will be preforming some maintenance on our mailing list archives that requires they be taken offline while the work is preformed.

Chat Service storage migration is complete.

The Jakarta EE TCK Jenkins instance has been migrated successfully.

The Glassfish Jenkins instance has been migrated successfully.

We will be updated one of our backend system, which means it will be unavailable for 5-10m. While the impact should be minor, it may degrade the ECA API or other associated services.

Some of our projects might get affected by the move of the Eclipse database to the new cluster.

We will be migrating projects.eclipse.org and blogs.eclipse.org web app pods to Ceph as the first part of this migration.

We will be migrating marketplace.eclipse.org and newsroom.eclipse.org web app pods to Ceph as the second part of this migration.

GitLab will undergo maintenance. During this time, availability may be sporadic, and build that rely on code hosted on GitLab may fail.

repo.eclipse.org is back online.

Our ISP will be preforming maintenance on our upstream network hardware during this time.

While our services will remain active, there may be connectivity issues as the devices are restarted and routes updated. Any outages should be temporary, and require waiting a few minutes before trying again.

Our CoLo facility will be doing routine power inspections and preventative maintenance of their UPSs during this window.

We don't anticipate any outage, but it's possible that some servers/switches may not swap power circuits correctly resulting in temporary outages while they restart.
