Maintenance

We will move our Bugzilla database to a new cluster. Bugzilla will be placed in read-only mode during the maintenance.

Our ISP has informed us they will be adding new transit interconnects daily between 21:00 and 23:59 Eastern.

Disruption should be minor, and limited to failed/delayed requests that should succeed on retry.

Cluster upgrade has been completed.

Due to unresolvable issues, we had to abort this migration for now. We will schedule a new attempt at a later date.

We will be working on one of our internal DNS servers to apply some updates. While the impact should be minimal, there is a possibility that some actions may fail/timeout as things fail over but they should work again on retry.

The database has been moved successfully

We will move the database to a new database cluster. Forums will be placed in read-only mode during the maintenance.

We will be preforming maintenance on one of our internal DNS machines which may result in delays while queries are sent to other machines.

We will move some databases related to eclipsecon.org to a new cluster

During this timeframe, the Paperwork and Hellosign APIs which service signature and persistence of agreements will be undergoing a database upgrade. During this time, there may be brief windows where the service becomes unavailable. These will be shortened as much as possible to reduce the impact on Eclipse Foundation users.

The projects.eclipse.org website will undergo scheduled maintenance to allow us to migrate from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. During this time, the website will be in read-only mode, and users will not be able to make any changes or submissions.

As part of an upgrade for our databases, the Membership API will have a short maintenance window in which time the member applications may experience a short roll back during the switch over. These will be resolved by the end of the maintenance.

The API powering the ECA Validation performed within Github and Gitlab Eclipse projects will be undergoing a short maintenance window to migrate an associated database. This maintenance will not introduce downtime, and users should be able to continue to commit as usual during this window.
